We’ve come for breakfast and lunch. Really nice selection of quick grab food in the cases and also hot items from the kitchen. My husband says it’s the best coffee he’s had. We are vegetarian and they are very veg friendly here

Stopped here for a late morning snack...muffins and latte/ chai latte. The food and drinks were great, the staff friendly and engaging. We'd never have guessed from the roadside how good this place would be, and the seating area out the back was lovely

Lovely little cafe with an awesome outside deck in the sunshine. Good stop on the way to Cape Reinga with great food options and service. Also had some local artwork on display for very reasonable prices. Had to buy one! Would stop there again!

A great place for a break and a treat. The food is delicious as most dishes are freshly made on site. The whole menu is reasonably priced. Now, throw in some pieces of decoration to make it a bit more cosy and your place will be a 5/5. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Firstly they are the only cafe in the North Island that know how to make a decent Mocha. Not too sweet, not to thin and flavourless, not some dishwater from the old coffee pot. Absolutely top marks for that. However, I would have liked toast with my poached eggs and not warm bread. Service was efficient and very friendly.

Had a sausage roll and a chicken wrap, both were very nice. The service was friendly and fast. Everything's clean, and there are very nice seating options outdoors by the river.

Time for a break, a coffee or just a rest, this is a must stop location. On the edge of the Awanui River, this is a perfect place to have a coffee. The staff are friendly, make that delightful and welcoming, in an area where there can be variable responses to customer service.

The best spot for lunch in the Kaitaia area, in my opinion. A wide variety of food options and always friendly, welcoming service. It's nice to sit on the back deck and watch the river. Good coffee too.
